How does it work?
Gaitscan assesses the forces present, and weight distribution,
in your feet whilst both standing still and walking.
As you stride across the pressure plate, 4096 tiny
sensors scan the surface of the foot. The system
simulataneously records and captures the relative
pressure load of each area of the foot.
The results of your scan can be viewed in both
2D and 3D form, and assist us with your diagnosis
and formulation of a tailored treatment plan.
If it is determined that you will benefit from
orthotic therapy, the precise imprint of your feet
is used to manufacture a custom made pair of orthotics.
These comfortable insoles will reduce stress and
strain on your body by realigning and stabilising
the bones in your feet.
So why are GAIT™ ANALYSIS TOG
orthotics better than any others?
TOG GaitScan™System is state of the art computerised
foot scanning technology. Traditional methods for
making orthotics are plaster of paris or foam impression
of the foot when stationary. TOG GaitScan™System
captures a moving image of the foot and is therefore
incomparably more sensitive and accurate.
Insoles that you buy off the shelf are not custom
made. You wouldn’t wear someone else’s
glasses, so why would you put something under your
feet that has not been designed specifically for
you! Like glasses, TOGS Insoles are custom made and
made from a specific prescription, therefore offering
the best possible support and relief from symptoms.
They help reduce pain throughout the feet, legs,
knees, hips and back and can dramatically help to
improve and maintain a healthy posture.
Unlike most insoles made from polypropylene, which
has a short life span and flattens under constant
stress, TOGS orthotics are made from a unique memory
plastic which is guaranteed for life against breakage
and will never flatten.
